More About the Shepherd’s Hut
The Shepherd’s Hut is a special addition to Napton Fields Holiday Cottages — lovingly hand-built by our family from the chassis up. Every detail has been thoughtfully crafted, from the exposed timber roof spars to the handmade oak king-sized bed, to create a unique and memorable retreat for short breaks or celebrations.
Set in its own private, fenced area, the hut enjoys fabulous countryside views over Napton on the Hill. Outside you’ll find a wood-fired hot tub, a gas pizza oven, and a patio with bistro seating — perfect for lazy afternoons or starlit evenings.
Inside, the hut is fully equipped with everything you need:
Open-plan kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge (with freezer), and cafetiere
Dining area with tub chairs
Separate shower room with walk-in shower, carved river-stone sink, and flushable toilet
Underfloor heating and full insulation for year-round comfort
Smart TV and free rural WiFi
We’ve thought of the little extras too: fluffy towels, bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, tea, coffee, and fresh milk. Cleaning kits, ironing facilities and laundry access. A maid service is available for longer stays if required
For friends travelling together, a sister hut is available just a 15-minute walk away on our other farm — ideal if two couples want to book both and meet up during their stay.
Secure off-road parking is provided, and we’re happy to accept pre-arrival grocery deliveries so everything is ready when you arrive.
