More About the Granary
The Granary is the largest of our cottages — a traditional two-storey barn that’s been lovingly converted to a high standard. With exposed beams, wrought iron balustrades, and a Juliette balcony, it’s full of character while offering every modern comfort. Whether you’re staying for a couple of nights or a longer break, it’s designed to make your time with us both relaxing and memorable.
Practical as well as beautiful, The Granary is also ideal for guests working in the area. We have ample, secure parking suitable for work vans carrying valuable tools and equipment.
Inside, the open-plan living space features a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, and a comfortable lounge. Underfloor heating and a ground-source heat pump ensure the whole cottage stays warm and welcoming. Upstairs you’ll find a spacious king-sized bedroom, a twin room, and a generous family bathroom. On the ground floor, there’s also a large walk-in shower room.
The Granary comfortably sleeps four, with the option of a sofa bed in the lounge if you need extra space for guests.
We’ve included everything you need for a comfortable stay:

You’ll also find cleaning kits, dishwasher tabs, ironing facilities, and optional laundry. A maid service is available for longer stays if required. Families are welcome too, with a travel cot, highchair, and baby bath available.
Outside, private secure parking is provided along with bistro and picnic tables for al fresco dining. Pre-arrival grocery deliveries are happily accepted so you can settle straight in.
