More About the Cart Barn
The Cart Barn is a traditional barn, lovingly converted on one level into a stylish self-catering retreat. With exposed beams, feature brickwork, and thoughtful touches throughout, it offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort — whether you’re staying overnight or enjoying a longer break.
Inside, you’ll find an open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar/work area, and a cosy lounge. Underfloor heating and a ground-source heat pump provide year-round comfort. The double bedroom and separate shower room with a powerful walk-in shower make the Cart Barn an ideal base for two.

Fresh towels, bed linen, toiletries, and a hairdryer
Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, and a cafetiere
Electric fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, and dishwasher

Additional comforts include an ironing board and iron, cleaning kits and dishwasher tabs, plus laundry. A maid service is available for longer stays if required. For families, a travel cot, highchair, and baby bath can be provided.
Outside, you’ll find private secure parking and picnic tables for al fresco dining. We also happily accept pre-arrival grocery deliveries, so everything is ready when you arrive.
